1Gotta use Coke. I grew up in Georgia, I live in Georgi, and it's always been Coke to me. No matter if you want Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Root Beer, or some generic brand, you always ask for Coke. Althought I have always considered Coke to be a type of Soda. When I'm talking inclusively, meaning about all carbonated beverages, I refer to them as Soda.
1NO WMDs!!! NO WMDs!!! NO WMDs!!!
1I say both "coke" and "soft drinks" and spell "coke" in lower case when using it generically. Sometimes I just call them drinks. "Would you like a drink?" and I mean anything from water to Mountain Dew to beer.
